Posted onVerified This past weekend my son (9) & I made a special trip from San Jose to visit His & Her Rocks Gallery. I was blown away by Debra and Mark's generosity. My mother passed away earlier in the week and the funeral home told us we could send personal items with my mother when she was cremated. We had celebrated my parent's 50th wedding anniversary a couple years ago in Cabo and my son got a shark's tooth necklace while we were there. He wanted to send a shark's tooth with his grandma when she was cremated. Debra and Mark had my son pick out 2 shark teeth, one for my mom and one for him to keep. They also asked us each to pick out a mangano calcite crystal and explained its healing properties. They also gave my son a heart shaped mangano calcite crystal to send with his grandma. They spent so much time with us, sharing their stories of loss and listening to ours. Visiting His & Her Rocks Gallery was a very bright spot in an otherwise very dark week. Debra and Mark are amongst the most compassionate people I have ever met. They would not accept any payment. I will be visiting and buying all my gifts for family in the future from His & Her Rocks Gallery. This gallery is really one of a kind and I will never forget the kindness Mark and Debra showed me & my son.Posted onVerified We had an absolutely wonderful experience visiting this His & Hers Rocks Gallery with a group of elementary students after school. Mark and Debra went above and beyond to welcome our enthusiastic group, creating a warm and engaging environment where curiosity was encouraged and celebrated. They took time to teach the students about different types of rocks and gemstones, answered countless questions with patience and excitement, and truly leaned into the children's love of learning. What made the visit even more special was how thoughtfully they worked within the students' budget while helping them select rocks for our school's Gemstone Club. It meant so much to see a local business open their doors to a group of energetic kids and turn the visit into a meaningful educational experience. I got a labradorite stone for a friend, a little rose quartz heart, a green aventurine chunk, and a quartz skull. The store itself was very nice, in a nice part of town. The ambience is great too. Will be returning for gift purchases soon, they were so nice to the kids-- even in a shop full of fragile items. Tons of options at many different price points, a gorgeous selection, and the warmest, most welcoming owner. They were so sweet to our kids, and we were really happy we made the decision to stop in. The store has a wide selection of crystals ranging from small tumbles to large display size pieces with a range of different prices. The owner, is always so friendly and welcoming. With both times I've been here, she has always been patient while I made my selection from the large amount of crystals they offer. Today, I left with one of my largest and favorite pieces to my collection. And the price was amazing for it! Will definitely have to come back again and find some more unique gems!Posted onVerified We purchased a beautiful amethyst sculpture piece for our home, and a fantastic wooden mushroom statue for my mycologist son and daughter-in-law. The owner is very nice, helpful & knowledgeable.
